Supported file types
Our video translation API currently supports the following file types. We are constantly expanding our list of supported file types; if you require a type for your workload please get in contact with your Signapse representative.
For additional information on what is required to send us different file types please see our documentation on uploading a file.

| .mp4 | Supported by all our endpoints |
| .mp3 | Supported by all our endpoints |
| .wmv | Supported by all our endpoints |
| .avi | Supported by all our endpoints |
| .flv | Supported by all our endpoints |
| .srt | If an .srt or .vtt is not provided Signapse will automatically generate one; this can add an additional delay in translating your video |
| .vtt | If an .srt or .vtt is not provided Signapse will automatically generate one; this can add an additional delay in translating your video |
| .mov | Supported by all our endpoints |
.pdf files are supported; however, due to complexities with PDFs we manually check the generated .srt and .vtt files to make sure everything is captured |
